who strengthens me.
-Philippians 4:13
He is a God
of
Love
and will always be
a God of Love
What we believe about God will determine what we do and how we live. Scripture has many examples of men and women who are willing to be part of His plan. They didn't have extraordinary skill, or extraordinary faith. They simply knew who deserved their loyalty, their honor and their praise. D. L. Moody summed it up best when he commented that, the world is yet to see what God can do through the life of an ordinary man who is totally surrendered to Him.
It is difficult to remember that God wants a real and personal relationship with us when we're busy doing everything ourselves. Remember, anything that steals our joy is not of God.
The lie that we're used to believing is that our pain comes
from Him. Brothers and sisters
do not be deceived. Sin will try
to make itself a part of your life.
The enemy works hard to make it all seem like a very normal part of our lives too. Until we almost forget that it's there . . . but we always feel and see the pain that it brings.
Jesus came to break us free from bondage. Sometimes bondage can be a habit. Whether it be a habit of addiction, guilt, greed or worry; Christ's blood has the power to deliver us. Whatever your struggle is today know that our God is the God of love, restoration, blessings and hope.
